Learning Efficiency for Academic Success
The Learning, Math, and Writing Centers provide an important element in the quality education PVCC students have come to expect. The centers offer tutoring in almost every subject at PVCC, as well as regular workshops in study skills, math, and writing. Academic Coaching is available for students who wish to develop their learning efficiency and skills on a range of topics, including test taking, test anxiety, writing improvement and study and time management. Students who want to improve their grades, learn more efficiently and get help in challenging subjects frequent the centers. There is no charge for these services; they are covered by your tuition.
The Learning Center is located in room M617 in the Main Building.
Testing Center
Summer Hours May 20-Aug. 2
Monday-Thursday: 7 a.m.-8 p.m.
Friday: 7-11:30 a.m.

Monday-Thursday:
10 a.m.-2 p.m. and 4-6 p.m.
First Quadrant (Math, Science, and Technology Tutoring)
Regular Semester Hours:
Monday-Thursday: 8:30 a.m.-8 p.m.
Friday: 8:30 a.m.-2 p.m.
Saturday: 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
Exam week:
The First Quadrant will be open for students to use the computers for normal hours, from 8:30 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Tutoring will operate on a more limited schedule, as below:
Tuesday, 30th - Thursday 2nd, 8:30 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Friday, May 3rd - 8:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Saturday, May 4th, 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
Monday, May 6th-Wednesday, May 8th - 8:30 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Summer Hours May 20 - July 30

Tutoring appointments are also available for Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Accounting, Economics, Computer Science and Nursing.
