Shane O'Hara, improvisation master class
$10 per participant
Based on the composition and improvisation techniques of dance master Daniel Nagrin, this class will explore exercises that create movement from impulses that sidestep the mind's filtering processes. This fun class is for all levels and types of performers. Open to all levels of experience.

Malcom Burn, ballet master class
$10 per participant
This class is part of the Richmond Ballet's annual residency at PVCC and taught by Malcolm Burn, associate artistic director and ballet master for the company. The class is open to dance students with at least one year of training in ballet.

Richmond Ballet
$20 adults, $15 seniors/students. Reserved seating.
The State Ballet of Virginia returns to PVCC with a full-length program from the company's repertoire. Come see why audiences return again and again to the athleticism and artistry of the Richmond Ballet on Tour, made possible through the generous support of Dominion Resources and special funding by the U.S. Congress for the National Endowment for the Arts and the Virginia Commission for the Arts, with additional support from the Virginia General Assembly.

PVCC Spring Dance Concert

PVCC's dance program presents a concert of original works developed by students and faculty throughout the year. The program will be a mixture of class work, student choreography and faculty collaborations. An audience discussion follows the performance. Seating in the Maxwell Theatre (Black Box) is limited. No late seating.
