The Marketing and Media Relations team brought home two “Excellence in Communication” awards. The Excellence in Communication area recognizes the "skills of marketing, communication and design professionals throughout the Virginia Community College System." For the Annual Report category the team won third place and for the print campaign category the team won second place. 

Director of Financial Aid Rachel Hailey received a Virginia Community Colleges Association (VCCA) Showcase Award. The showcase award recognizes outstanding faculty and staff members throughout the VCCS who demonstrate excellence in significant contributions to education, community college and professional development involvement at their college or agency.
